Freight Pricing Specialist

About the Role:
Pace Appointments is seeking a skilled Freight Pricing Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building relationships with vendors to supply the business with cost-effective solutions for the movement of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to create accurate and timely quotes for customers.
- Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Evaluate customer contracts and assess profitability to optimize pricing models.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve pricing effectiveness.
- Focus on continuous improvement through process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on pricing preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
