Pricing and Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pricing and Procurement Specialist to join our team at Pace Appointments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with vendors, analyzing market trends, and developing competitive pricing strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions for freight movement.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to develop effective pricing strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with sales and operations teams to create accurate and timely quotes for customers.
- Pricing Database Management: Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Contract Evaluation: Evaluate customer contracts and assess profitability to optimize pricing models.
- Data-Driven Insights: Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve pricing effectiveness.
- Continuous Improvement: Focus on continuous improvement through process improvement.
- Experience: Experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on pricing preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
