Cartage Coordinator Opportunity

Pace Appointments is seeking a skilled Cartage Coordinator to join their Melbourne team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating daily LCL, FCL, and airfreight shipments, liaising with clients, and organizing timeslots.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues
  • Organize timeslots and schedules to meet client needs
  • Quote specialty projects and destinations, providing accurate and competitive pricing
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines to negotiate charges and resolve any issues
  • Enter invoices to facilitate timely payments
  • Check and approve cartage costs to ensure accuracy and compliance

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday with flexibility to work from home. We are seeking a committed, reliable individual who is proactive, organized, and possesses a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous Cartage experience gained within an International Freight Forwarding environment, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a hands-on Cartage role.
