Job Summary

  • Conduct vocational assessments to support individuals who have sustained psychological or physical injuries in the workplace.
  • Negotiate with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Support recovery and return-to-work initiatives as part of a multidisciplinary team, prioritising clients' best interests.
  • Develop targeted intervention strategies to enhance independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance.
  • Understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling and possess full ASORC Accreditation.
  • Exhibit confidence in engaging with multiple stakeholders, including insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues, and employees.
  • Demonstrate an inclusive attitude towards engaging with diverse cultural groups.
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commit to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Exhibit strong punctuality and time management skills.
  • Be willing to travel, possessing a current vehicle and driver's licence.
