Job Title:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team.

This role involves working with a diverse group of colleagues, helping to make a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

You will be the go-to person in the team for all things medical, supporting claims teams and developing effective return to work, return to life, injury management and recovery strategies. This role is predominately coaching, and project based, providing and supporting the claims teams to achieve positive Injury Management practices, compliance and service standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support Case Managers alongside the Team Leader and Technical Specialists through the course of their day to achieve high quality results.
  • Regular one-on-one coaching with Case Managers focused on capability uplift in claims management strategy and project outcomes.
  • Monitor Injury Management plans and provide support and coaching to meet quality standards and compliance.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Return to Work Programs and iCare Foundation programs.
  • Develop injury management plans and implement strategies including leveraging relevant resources required in managing claim scenarios.

About You:

  • Sound communication skills and a passion for working in a team environment to achieve outcomes, customer-focused approach and someone who loves attention to detail.
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Exercise Science, Nursing, or other Allied Health field).
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management insurance / workers insurance.
