Technical Director/State Manager

We are seeking a high-performing Technical or Project Director to take on a leadership opportunity that combines technical project delivery and state manager responsibilities.
This role will involve working closely with the Managing Director Australia to influence the culture of our teams and build our brand recognition across the region.
As a Technical Leader, you will be responsible for Design Management, Project Management, and coordination of multidisciplinary projects, developing a culture of outstanding delivery and providing coaching and mentoring to our enthusiastic team.
In the State Manager NSW/ACT position, you will foster a positive and inclusive culture across our Sydney, Canberra, and Newcastle offices and provide leadership that inspires, unites, and influences our teams in a way that enhances and grows our exceptional collaboration with General Managers and Market Directors.
You will lead the coordination and execution of NSW and ACT market growth strategies, identifying new market opportunities, overseeing market-facing activity, and tracking performance to ensure our regional strategic objectives are met.
Key to success in this position will be an ability to help build brand recognition across the region with a focus on business development and representing Beca in client and public forums, engaging with key clients, stakeholders, and market contacts.
You will be an advocate of our brand, our people, and our clients, with an engaging style that is essential in this role.
We are looking for an excellent networker, influencer, team player, and facilitator who enjoys working with a diverse team and creating a level of consistency locally among our leaders to support the delivery of the NSW and ACT plans and key initiatives.
You will connect with the wider Beca business to bring the best our company has to offer to our clients and communities.
