Lead Educator

We are seeking a Lead Educator to join our team at an Outside School Hours Care service. This is a permanent, part-time position.

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of the education program, promoting children's well-being, development, and learning. This includes helping children develop values, attitudes, and ways of living and learning by providing a high quality of care, activities, and educational elements to those in the program.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • ">
  • Leading the development and implementation of the educational program and assessment with the support of Assistant Coordinator/Coordinator">
  • Ensuring children's learning and development informs the design of the educational program, and educators facilitate and extend each child's learning and development">
  • Liaising effectively with parents, staff, and all internal and external stakeholders">
  • Making recommendations for improvements to educators' educational programs and practices">
  • Mentoring and supporting educators understanding of the educational program and practice">

This role requires a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent and demonstrated experience in Early Childhood Education. The successful candidate must also have sound experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care setting.
