Field-Based Health and Safety Expert

As a Field-Based Health and Safety Specialist, you will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at client locations across the United States. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of technical capabilities and business processes to help clients proactively address their health and safety risks and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide technical support for safety-related projects, including the development and implementation of safety management systems, industrial hygiene monitoring, and safety auditing.
- Create safety procedures, plans, permits, and reports.
- Evaluate regulatory compliance across various safety programs and environmental media.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Design and implement safety management systems and programs for clients.
- Deliver training, field coaching, and assessment for safety performance improvement projects.
- Offer on-site health and safety compliance support at client facilities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as safety, occupational health, or engineering, with a master's preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in consulting, working with significant industrial clients on regulatory compliance and sustainable health and safety programs.
- Certification in a relevant field, such as ASP/CSP, CIH, PE, or similar registration highly desirable.
- Ability to provide detailed interpretation of federal and state OSHA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database management for managing large volumes of data.
