Reliability Engineer Role

As a Reliability Engineer at Kindred Group plc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resilience and observability of our Kindred Sportsbook Platform.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Reliability Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site reliability engineering concepts and practices, with experience designing and implementing innovative solutions at scale.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining large-scale, distributed telemetry pipelines and observability platforms that provide real-time insight into system performance and reliability. They will also work closely with development teams to optimise instrumentation, observability tooling, and reliability strategies.

In this role, you will drive capacity planning and proactive performance optimisation, always pushing the envelope to anticipate and meet evolving business and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Essential Skills:
  • Deep expertise in site reliability engineering concepts and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of observability and telemetry data principles.
  • Experience with Linux system administration and fundamentals.
  • Strong experience with containerisation principles, tooling and orchestration.
