Project Director Role Summary
As a seasoned Project Director, you will play a key role in the delivery of large-scale EPC contracts for our esteemed clients. With a focus on leadership and project management, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of projects within time, cost, quality, and safety parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the effective set-up, delivery, and completion of assigned projects
  • Providing leadership and professional development for your team
  • Managing and monitoring the completion of projects to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved and taking prompt corrective action where required
  • Effectively manage the handover process to the client
  • Reviewing and authorising construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and Safe Work Method Statements
  • Monitoring project progress against the programme and budget
  • Preparing accurate project reports
  • Providing leadership and guidance to estimating and bid teams for assigned key target opportunities.
  • Ensuring the project is adequately resourced to deliver project requirements in accordance with the programme and contractual agreements
  • Developing and maintaining key relationships with resource and energy clients underpinning commercial outcomes and business growth.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management are preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Director in Civil or SMPE&I Construction with a Tier 1 contractor between $200M and $500M
  • Management skills to lead a team of people to deliver quality projects on time, for the best cost and with no safety incidents
  • Strong commercial focus / business acumen
