This role is responsible for assisting the Group Manager in the development, management and advancement of the Risk Management Framework.
The role will drive a proactive risk management culture across the organisation by partnering with all divisions to ensure effective risk management practices.
This role is based in our office and requires strong legislative interpretation skills and understanding of compliance obligations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end risk workshops, including facilitation, documentation, and final risk profile preparation.
- Manage compilation of Executive Risk Committee and draft Board papers within required timelines.
- Conduct Business Impact Assessments and support business units in maintaining up-to-date BCPs and test programs.
- Support crisis simulation exercises and updates to the Crisis Management Plan (CMP) in conjunction with the Group Manager.
- Support the business in managing its compliance obligations.
- Manage and administer the Enterprise Risk Management System.
About You:
- A confident facilitator and presenter with experience across varied audiences.
- Commercially focused with demonstrated practice in risk management, compliance, and audit frameworks.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years' experience in risk management, including application of ISO 31000:2018.
