The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Private Capital team, you will be responsible for the growth and diversification of our investor base. Your role will span management of investor relationships, capital raising for new products, and capital raising for existing products, working closely with the investor relations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investor relationships - build and maintain strong relationships with investor groups, including High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Investment Advisers, Charities and Endowments, and develop a strong understanding of their strategic goals and investment objectives to identify sales opportunities.
  • New products and strategies - capital raising for new product initiatives, including involvement in producing marketing collateral, investor pitches, commercial term negotiations, and lead conversion.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader New Business team, including the Investor Relations Team.

About You

The selection criteria include qualifications, experience, and capabilities required for the role. Your application will be reviewed based on your ability to demonstrate or potential to develop the required capabilities:

  • Minimum tertiary degree qualification in commerce, business, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within funds management, strategy, banking, or corporate development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the real-estate and/or infrastructure funds management sector, with an ability to discuss key economic and market trends in the context of Dexus products and opportunities.
  • Existing industry and investor contacts within the real estate and infrastructure sectors.
  • Experience in Private Capital investment, including a client-focused approach to investment solutions and recommendations.
  • Proven track record of delivering a range of projects from conception to completion, achieving the project goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive negotiation, mediation, conflict management, and customer retention skills.
