We seek a senior data governance professional to lead the design, implementation and ongoing enhancement of data quality, governance and metadata practices in financial services.
Main Responsibilities:- Designing and implementing an enterprise-wide Data Governance Framework, including policies, standards and operating models.
- Establishing Data Governance Councils and Working Groups.
- Developing and applying data quality rules, assessment procedures and remediation pathways.
- Maintaining business glossaries, data dictionaries and product/source system catalogues.
- Selecting and managing data governance & quality tooling.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborating across stakeholders to uplift data capability.
- Leading training, awareness and culture change around data quality and governance.
- Deep experience in data governance and quality management at enterprise scale.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, metadata and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to engage with and influence senior stakeholders and executives.
- Experience selecting and implementing governance/quality software tools.
- Strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
