About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Blackbook Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive maintenance strategy that drives business excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance activities that drive business value.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Develop and maintain a robust maintenance planning and scheduling process to ensure optimal asset utilization.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, machine reliability, and uptime.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and reliability engineering.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance or reliability engineering role, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing maintenance strategies that drive business excellence.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize maintenance activities.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles, as well as root cause analysis techniques.
