About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our factory team in Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of production operators and shift maintenance staff to achieve optimal output and minimize losses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address areas for improvement, and implement changes to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform decision-making and drive business results.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and logistics teams.
  • Identify and develop talent, and provide coaching and mentoring to team members to support their career development.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks, and delegate responsibilities to team members to ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
