Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

- The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are crucial for this role.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review management reports, including monthly profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions where necessary.
- Cost Tracking: Collaborate with production managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting for manufacturing processes.
- Support Functions: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, perform variance analysis and report on key financial metrics, and assist with the preparation of financial statements and compliance documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient financial operations.
- You will need a tertiary degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field, and preferably a CPA/CA qualification (or in progress).
- You should have proven experience in management accounting, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes is essential.
- You will also require proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (experience with ERP systems like SAP or similar is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders are crucial.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are also important.
- This is a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
