Fire Systems Technician Position

We are seeking an experienced Fire Systems Technician to join our team. As a Fire Systems Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all fire protection systems to Australian Standards.

  • Maintaining and servicing all Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment is crucial to ensuring the safety of people and property.
  • You will conduct routine inspections, testing, and servicing of Wet Fire Systems - Sprinklers, hydrants, hoses, and pumps.
  • Installation of Wet Fire Systems requires attention to detail and adherence to Australian Standards.
  • As a key member of our team, you will assist in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work.
  • Liaising directly with clients regarding service work is essential to building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Isolate panels to conduct testing of Wet Fire Systems.

Skills & Experience:

  • Cert III in Fire Protection (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience working with Wet Fire Systems is essential.
  • Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118 is crucial.
  • Ability to test, repair, and install fire systems.
  • Driver's License required.
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded.
