Bell 412 Maintenance Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Bell 412 Licensed B2 (Avionics) Engineer in Richmond, New South Wales, Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and performing maintenance on aircraft and must possess demonstrated avionics experience on Bell 412 aircraft.
We are looking for someone who can provide on-the-job training and direct supervision of unlicensed AMEs and apprentices under their control.
The selected individual will also be responsible for ongoing mentoring and coaching to staff to meet department goals.
They will manage spare parts, components, and materials required for specific maintenance tasks.
The engineer will ensure tools and equipment meet calibration requirements and are in good working order prior to use, including operational equipment.
They will troubleshoot aircraft autopilot, instrument, radio, and electrical systems to identify problems and adjust repair systems according to current data and instructions for continued airworthiness.
The ideal candidate will have a CASA Part 66 Aircraft Engineer License with B2 category and 2 years of maintenance experience on B-412 helicopters.
They should also have 2 years of experience training and mentoring staff and advanced technical writing skills.
Preferred qualifications include a B-412 Type Rating, fixed-wing aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on C-560 and/or B-737, aircraft maintenance experience in aerial firefighting environments, and aircraft maintenance experience in remote or field locations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
They should also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
