We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing maintenance duties in a friendly and professional manner.
Your primary objective will be to ensure the store appearance is at its best, while providing exceptional customer service.
You will be required to perform various tasks, including cleaning, stocking shelves and coolers, sweeping and mopping floors, checking product as it is delivered from vendors, and yard maintenance.
Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with associates and guests, counting, reading and writing accurately to complete required paperwork, and wearing the required store uniform.
You must also be available to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays, have reliable transportation, and attend mandatory meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Customer Service
- Cleaning
- Stocking shelves and coolers
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
- Yard maintenance
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests
- Ability to count, read and write accurately
- Wear required store uniform
- Starting pay is $16.00 an hour for a store associate
- Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from Mid-night to 6 a.m.
- Earn a performance review in a little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter
- Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date
- Vacation Pay, Over-time pay over 40 hours, Annual Bonus based upon store profits, Over-time pay for those that work the Holidays
The function of a maintenance individual is to perform the following duties:
- Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion
- Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
- Be able to freely access all areas of the store
- Move quickly around store
