**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Officer to join our team at Programmed. As a Project Officer, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Coordination: Coordinate various functions to deliver successful projects, including developing strategies with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects on time and within budget.
  2. Customer Interface: Act as the primary customer interface, collaborating daily with engineering and production teams to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication with customers regarding their project status.
  3. Project Documentation: Maintain clear project documentation, ensuring transparency regarding status, milestones, and customer demands.
  4. Project Planning: Plan and monitor project activities to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables align with the contracted scope of work.
  5. Issue Resolution: Resolve project issues and manage resource constraints in a timely manner.
  6. Status Updates: Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on deliverables, timelines, and critical issues.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by managing expectations, troubleshooting issues, and providing timely reports and financial forecasts.
  8. Vendor Management: Submit all required vendor documentation, including engineering drawings, performance test data, and regulatory information, within project timelines.
  9. Project Evaluation: Evaluate project outcomes, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions using Root-Cause Counter-Measure (RCCM) tools.
  10. Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Requirements

  1. Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary degree in Science, Engineering, or Project Management certification (or equivalent experience).
  2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in setting and achieving goals, managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and multi-tasking effectively.
  3. Customer Relationships: Proven ability to build strong customer relationships, proactively responding to customer needs in a dynamic environment.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and provide accurate reports and workable solutions.
  6. Technical Skills: Experience using project management tools and ERP systems, proficiency in Microsoft applications for project planning and milestone tracking.
  7. Commercial Knowledge: Knowledge of commercial contracts and terms & conditions.
  8. Industry Experience: Experience in the industrial processing or mining industry is an advantage.
