About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Duratec Australia. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical works meet client expectations and are completed to specification and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze technical drawings and interpret specifications to determine electrical components required on marine projects.
  • Compile and review QA/QC documentation, including ITPs, RFIs, and associated reporting.
  • Coordinate suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery of electrical components.
  • De-conflict with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Plan and monitor progress, equipment, and personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Diagnose issues and problem-solve to ensure electrical works meet client expectations.
  • Track procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of electrical components.
  • Program and schedule electrical and commissioning works to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Coordinator who has a strong background in electrical engineering and project delivery. You will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a trade background with experience in quality management of large-scale electrical projects. You will also have experience in HV/substations, industrial electrical installations, instrumentation, security, ICT, and controls systems.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively influence, develop, and maintain stakeholder relationships. You will also have a proven problem-solving ability and be able to 'think outside the box'. A genuine passion and desire for the safety of self and others is essential.
