Strategic Leadership Opportunity

This is a senior leadership position within the Commercial Acceleration Strategy team. The role acts as an 'Internal Management Consulting' team to solve for strategic, commercially focused challenges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects and delivering results-driven solutions. They will work closely with other divisions, including Pricing, Digital, B2B sales, Marketing, Ancillary Products etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically frame complex business challenges and solve for these problems using rich data
  • Train, lead and mentor analysts in the team. Actively contribute to the broader team through best practice sharing
  • Be a visible point of contact for senior leaders and provide concise answers to ad-hoc commercial questions
  • Collaborate closely with other divisions to deliver value-acceleration projects
  • Lead special projects and deep dives for value acceleration capture
  • Actively lead preparation for executive-level updates
  • Interrogate and analyse data to identify trends, gaps and opportunities, and understand drivers of commercial performance using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other analytical tools
Requirements:
  • 6-10+ years experience in Management Consulting, Internal Strategy or Commercial Strategy teams
  • Bachelor qualification in an analytical field. (MBA or higher level education is desirable)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to build complex models
  • Solid leadership experience, including previous direct reports
  • Confident communication style with the ability to verbally answer complex questions when put under pressure
  • Extensive experience with presenting to C-Suites and delivering presentations
  • Previous experience running strategic projects with a commercial focus
