Job Title: Health Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Health professional to provide expert advice and assistance to various operating divisions in relation to injury management, rehabilitation, and claims.

This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to support and rehabilitate injured workers. A key aspect of this position is to ensure the workplace remains safe, including health & well-being programs and training/education programs.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Injury Management & Claims (HIMC) services and be able to lead and coordinate the delivery of HIMC services to customers, build long-term partnerships with customers such as medical practitioners, insurers, and internal staff and management.

The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in injury management, workers' compensation, and rehabilitation claims management, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert Health, Injury Management & Claims (HIMC) services through the HIMC team.
  • Coordinating activities to support and rehabilitate injured workers.
  • Leading and coordinating the delivery of HIMC services to customers.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and manage HSE / HIMC risks.
  • Preparing management reports and following Group procedures.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, OH&S, or related areas.
  • Previous experience in injury management, workers' compensation, and rehabilitation claims management.
  • Ability to identify and manage HSE/HIMC risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Intermediate capability to use MS Word, Excel, and basic understanding of HSE Information Systems.
