Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior digital health leader to manage the continued delivery and development of an innovative, evidence-based mental health app for Australian children and families.

The successful candidate will lead a passionate team to deliver and continuously improve the Raising Healthy Minds App, working closely with internal teams, government stakeholders, clinical experts, and app developers to ensure the app is safe, impactful, and responsive to user needs across Australia.

This dynamic and rewarding opportunity enables you to shape digital mental health delivery at scale, supporting families and contributing to national mental health outcomes.

About The Role

As Program Manager, you will report to the Director and be responsible for leading project planning, budgeting, timelines, risk management, and reporting. You will also oversee the optimisation of app functionality, performance, and user experience in collaboration with app developers.

In addition, you will ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health standards and manage stakeholder engagement, including health professionals, educators, researchers, and advisory committees.

Your Responsibilities Include
  • Lead the delivery, strategy, and performance of the Raising Healthy Minds App
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, timelines, risk management, and reporting
  • Collaborate with app developers to enhance app functionality, performance, and user experience
  • Ensure adherence to National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health standards
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and engagement
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Postgraduate qualifications (Master's or PhD) in public health, child mental health, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in digital health or mental health projects
  • Strong understanding of digital product development and user experience
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead cross-sector collaboration
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams and driving strategic initiatives
