Customer Service Specialist

Brief Description:

We are leaders in managing and facilitating operations that focus on recycling for the Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) in Australia. Convenient locations plus new technology enable a seamless recycling experience at fully staffed depots and Express collection points.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will provide exceptional service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.

  • Delivering outstanding customer service to our customers
  • Sorting recyclable items into their correct categories
  • Transporting items to the relevant storage area using forklift or manual handling
  • Welcoming and assisting customers with their recycling products to inspire repeat business
  • Cash handling and ensuring accuracy
  • Ensuring staff adhere to all health and safety procedures and reporting hazards/faults/risks
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction
  • Providing training and support to ensure staff work safely and efficiently

To Be Successful In This Role:

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience
  • Excel and Outlook experience
  • A great 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
