Overview

Ventia's Western Power contract has secured the next 12 months of work. We're looking for two Trade Assistants to join our team. We offer competitive rates and opportunities to work with Western Power on maintenance and project work that meets their standards and specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Distribution Overhead Crews on Planned Maintenance and Project Work in line with Western Power's standards and specifications.

  • $45.50 per hour plus $4.00 per hour site allowance,

  • 10/4 roster
  • Regional and Metropolitan work – LAFHA for regional work up to $355 per day

    About You
    • Experienced in Excavation operation, Rock Breaking and machine operation
    • Proven experience carrying out Crane Operations, truck driving and electrical trade assisting
    • Experience operating supplementary attachments – auguring, drilling and installing ground stays
    • Heavy Rigid (HR) driver's license or greater
    • HRWL - DG, LF, CV or higher
    • Bring a friendly and upbeat energy to the team
