Role Overview

The Talent Experience Manager is a strategic and commercially-driven expert who partners with leaders across various business units to harness talent for sustainable growth, aligning with the firm's overarching goals. This position offers coaching and strategic insights to senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor by utilizing data and analytics to shape effective people strategies that yield commercial benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborating with Business Unit Leaders and other stakeholders to devise people solutions that are commercially aligned with the firm's objectives.
  2. Working alongside the Head of Talent and Talent Experience Consultants to implement business unit strategies effectively.
  3. Leveraging data and analytics to furnish business leaders with insights for informed decision-making regarding people strategies.
  4. Partnering with business leaders to formulate and execute strategies related to performance management, leadership development, engagement, compensation, and recruitment.
  5. Cooperating with teams in Resourcing, Talent Development, and Talent Operations to create and deliver talent programs that ensure a consistent experience while addressing specific business needs.
  6. Enhancing awareness and engagement around key strategic talent initiatives and projects.
  7. Guiding leaders through transformative changes, particularly in relation to talent management strategies, including performance, rewards, career pathways, diversity, and retention.
  8. Assisting leaders in managing the structure and size of business units by analyzing utilization rates and making informed resourcing recommendations.
  9. Providing a commercial perspective on change management initiatives within business units.
  10. Building a robust network and relationships across the business unit and the broader firm to establish trust as a business advisor.
  11. Coaching and mentoring members of the Talent Experience team.
  12. Serving as the primary contact for their line of business in their designated location.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Adviser role or equivalent.
  2. Strong expertise in employment relations.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of company policies, National Employment Standards, and Fair Work regulations.
  4. Exceptional skills in relationship building and influence.
  5. Demonstrated commercial insight across various domains.
  6. Deep knowledge of talent strategy and business acumen.
  7. Sound judgment with the ability to balance risk and commercial outcomes.
  8. Expertise in data analysis and people analytics.
  9. Strong coaching and development skills for leadership.
  10. Experience in change management and workforce planning.
  11. Proactive approach with a focus on personal growth and resilience.
