Assistant Housekeeping Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team at a new hotel in Bondi Junction.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. They will be available to work flexible hours and have weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover the Housekeeping Managers days off and assist with supervisory duties on other days.
  • Supervise and manage a team of housekeepers to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service are maintained.
  • Assist with the recruitment and training of new staff members.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity in the Housekeeping department.

Requirements:

  • Possess full Australian working rights.
  • Excellent grooming and presentation.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and perform daily payroll tasks.
  • Previous experience in leading workplace safety and adhering to established protocols.
