Housekeeping Department Leader

Our Hospitality Team is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Housekeeping Department.
About the Role
This key position plays a vital role in ensuring the hotel rooms and corridors are clean, tidy and well-maintained. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff, conducting performance reviews, managing stock levels and forecasting staffing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and your team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Conduct regular performance reviews with team members to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
Manage and maintain accurate records of stock levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient operation.
Forecast staffing requirements to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Communicate effectively with the Front Office and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
A proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role within a hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
A high level of integrity, work ethic and attention to detail.
Able to manage multiple priorities, think critically and make sound decisions.
Able to adapt to changing situations, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude in all interactions.
