The Housekeeping Team Leader plays a pivotal role within the housekeeping department, offering strategic support to the manager in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Lead and support daily housekeeping operations, allocate tasks, manage workflow, and monitor productivity.
  • Team Empowerment & Development: Serve as a key support for the manager, train, coach, and mentor team members in cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and guest etiquette.
  • Guest Experience: Respond promptly to guest feedback or room-related issues, maintain close communication with front office and maintenance teams.
  • Compliance & Safety: Uphold WHS standards, promote a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment, report maintenance issues promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping within a hotel or serviced apartment environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Reliable, proactive, and physically able to undertake cleaning duties.
