Property Claims Assessor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Claims Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our assessment team, you will be responsible for conducting site assessments, reviewing claims, and providing recommendations for settlement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the extent of damage
  • Review and analyze claims data to identify potential issues
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on claim status and resolution
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless claim processing
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in property claims or a related field
  • Strong understanding of building codes and construction practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license

Desirable Skills:

  • Carpentry or building qualification
  • Estimating software experience
  • Working at Height certification
  • WHS Induction Card
