Freight Optimisation Analyst

**Job Description**:

Railer is a logistics startup that utilises technology to reinvent trucking and transform the future of the Australian Trucking Industry.

We help businesses transport their goods interstate by matching them with truckers. Our clients span various industries, including Food & Beverage and Aerospace & Defence.

This field offers boundless opportunities to apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems, significantly improving the efficiency of the trucking industry.

The business is expanding rapidly, and we require additional technical talent to optimise our fleet of trucks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

The Freight Optimisation Analyst will be part of the team responsible for optimising our truck fleet to minimise travel time and maximise utilisation.

Your primary task will be to develop models to simulate and optimise freight collections and deliveries across Australia.

**Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Strong academic background with at least a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- Industry experience in Operations Research is beneficial, but not mandatory
- We welcome recent university graduates
