Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Epping, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to provide expert care and develop your skills in a General Practice setting with a strong focus on patient education and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care to individuals with complex needs or from diverse backgrounds and age demographics;
- Perform general practice nurse duties, including immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, and stock ordering;
- Contribute to the development of individualised care plans and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes;
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication;
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to relevant guidelines and standards;
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration;
- Background working in a busy General Practice and/or primary health setting;
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments (an advantage);
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respond to patients' needs in a friendly manner;
- A team focus and flexible approach to work;
- The ability to manage reminder and recall systems effectively;
- Experience with Best Practice (an advantage).
