Job Description

The role of a Construction Manager is pivotal in overseeing the delivery of services and programs supporting work health and safety across the construction sector in NSW.

This position requires an enthusiastic and agile leader with the ability to manage resources, deliver regulatory responses, and support a high-performing organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering services and programs supporting work health and safety across the construction sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote and influence the implementation of organisational direction and programs to external stakeholders.
  • Manage resources effectively to deliver regulatory responses, services, and programs, ensuring consistency with organisational and public sector values.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and manage a team in a dynamic and changing operating environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of the construction industry and the ability to identify and respond to emerging issues and risks.
  • High-level oral and written communication skills with the ability to represent the organisation through relevant media channels.
