Youth Support Team Lead

Empowering young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds to become influential Australians is a pivotal role at the Centre for Multicultural Youth. This position provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to teams of youth workers.
The key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting youth workers in providing one-on-one support, family work, group work, school-based activities, and leadership opportunities.
- Working closely with the Program Manager to provide strategic leadership and support for metropolitan networks and projects.
This agile role will adapt to the organisation's priorities and stakeholders' needs. If you have experience in supervising staff, working with diverse young people, and implementing a youth-centred approach, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others. You should also have a strong understanding of the needs of young people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to meet these needs.
