We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Management Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an Environmental Waste Auditor to make a meaningful impact in waste reduction and sustainability.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough waste audits, consolidating data, analyzing trends, and monitoring litter prevention projects. The successful applicant will also engage with local communities, providing education and consultation on sustainable practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct kerbside audits to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies for effective waste management.
  • Perform bin reconciliations to ensure accurate waste disposal practices and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Provide critical insights from waste characterisation data to inform decision-making and drive positive change.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, with excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant industry experience and certifications are highly valued.
