Job Role

The Senior Marketing Officer is a key position responsible for leading the engagement with centralised advertising hubs to deliver multi-channel campaigns and digital channel strategies.

About the Position:

  • This role involves project managing brand creation, ideation, and in-event brand management for all events.
  • It also entails managing and engaging with PR agencies for all events.
  • Marketing engagement with key event partners and agencies will be led to deliver agreed KPIs and partner strategies.
  • The visitation strategy for all events, including wholesale travel partners, will be driven.
  • Marketing promotions and activations will be planned and coordinated.
  • Videography/photography campaign requirements will be led.
  • Research to gain customer insights and implement market-oriented actions will be coordinated.
  • Support will be provided for procurement processes related to marketing activities.
  • Information for ad hoc and regular reporting processes will be prepared.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Events, or a business-related discipline is required.
  • The ability to work extended hours leading into and during major events is necessary.
