Mental Health Training Specialist

Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Mental Health Trainer to join our team. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs that promote mental health and wellness in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver non-accredited Mental Health courses to a professional standard, meeting WHS, Mental Health First Aid Australia, and Red Cross standards.
- Ensure training and resources are set up and delivered effectively, supported by a national administrative team.
- Engage students with compassion and understanding, given the content of the sessions.
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing.
- Current and accredited MHFA Instructor.
- Experience in facilitating training in community and corporate settings.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students with capacity for compassion and understanding.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable, along with relevant industry-based training certificates and experience.
