Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Trainer to join our team. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering non-accredited Mental Health courses to a professional standard, meeting WHS, Mental Health First Aid Australia, and Red Cross standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality training sessions to students in a classroom setting.
  • Ensure all training materials and resources are set up and delivered to a professional standard.
  • Work collaboratively with our national administrative team to support the delivery of training programs.
  • Engage students with compassion and understanding, given the sensitive nature of the training content.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Current and accredited MHFA Instructor certification.
  • Experience in facilitating training in community and corporate settings.
  • TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable, along with relevant industry-based training certificates and experience.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements for this role.
