About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Trainer to join our team, responsible for delivering non-accredited Mental Health courses in a classroom setting. As a Mental Health Trainer, you will work closely with our national administrative team to ensure training and resources are set up and delivered to a professional standard, meeting WHS, Mental Health First Aid Australia, and Red Cross standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Mental Health training courses to a wide range of students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure training needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the national administrative team to ensure training resources are up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials.
Requirements
  • Current and accredited MHFA Instructor qualification.
  • Experience in facilitating training in community and corporate settings.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students with capacity for compassion and understanding.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
