About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at the Ministry of Health. As a key member of our ICT Project Management team, you will be responsible for managing complex and large-scale ICT projects from inception to implementation and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and delivery of complex and/or large ICT projects within the Centre for Population Health.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to achieve project outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate compliance with established policies and standards, working closely with e Health to ensure alignment with Ministry and e Health requirements.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, and provide guidance to non-technical project managers.
  • Undertake change management practices including regular communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in ICT program and project management, from inception to implementation and evaluation.
  • Superior organisational skills and the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
  • High-level oral and written communication and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
  • The ability to work in a small dynamic team environment.
What We Offer
  • Crown Clerk Grade 9/10, starting salary from $120,859 - $133,183 p.a plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week.
