About the Role

The Senior Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager in the safe, coordinated, and successful delivery of one or more projects to achieve project financial targets, in accordance with Adco Constructions' standards. This role will manage the engineering team as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the production of documents and plans that govern project delivery, ensuring plans align with project, business, and legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure the project engineering team is adequately resourced with personnel of appropriate competency to deliver project plans.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and other third parties.
  • Chair, attend, and record meetings and forums necessary to achieve project delivery.
  • Facilitate the development of junior staff.
  • Contribute to tenders as required and support the state management team in the development of new business.
  • Provide feedback on staff performance to Construction Managers for staff reviews.

About You

  • Degree qualified in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer for a head contractor.
  • Proven industry experience on $40m+ new build projects.
  • Previous experience managing subcontractors with programming, supervision, and contracts administration.
