Job Overview

The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the team member experience.

This position focuses on bringing structure and clarity to HR operations, ensuring systems run smoothly and supporting a thriving, people-first culture.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining our HRIS, supporting compliance and administrative processes, and enhancing the everyday experience for our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HRIS Implementation & Maintenance
  • Coordinate data cleansing, migration and validation
  • Support user testing, training rollouts, and troubleshooting
  • Create process documentation, user guides and onboarding materials
  • Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
  • People & Culture Operations & Administration
  • Prepare contracts, letters and onboarding/offboarding documentation
  • Maintain team member records and HR data in compliance with Fair Work and internal policy
  • Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across the business
  • Compliance
  • Support interpretation and application of Modern Awards
  • Contribute to HR audits, WHS documentation and award-based compliance
  • Ensure internal HR documentation is up to date and accessible
  • Culture & Engagement Support
  • Help coordinate the administrative tasks supporting team events, communications, and performance reviews
  • Contribute to team member engagement and culture-building initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years in a generalist HR administration or coordinator role
  • Experience with HRIS systems – implementation or administration
  • Knowledge of Fair Work and Award interpretation (especially in retail/hospitality)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communicator with a warm, collaborative approach
  • Previous experience in coworking, retail, hospitality, fitness or creative industries (a bonus)
