We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Credit Specialist to join our team at 201 KONE Elevators Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of potential clients, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high-volume account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Make collection calls to ensure timely payments and improve accounts receivable aging.
- Assist with month-end accounts receivable processes to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze and implement continuous process improvements to optimize receivables and reduce risk.
- Conduct receivable audits, provide education and development to field personnel, and deliver presentations on receivable analysis.
- Examine collection policies and processes for compliance, problem-solve, and recommend improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with the regional controller on receivable goals and objectives, timely management reporting, project and customer risk analysis, and coordination of corrective action plans.
- Collate monthly claims and submit through customer portals or accounts as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, within a large construction and/or service industry.
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player focused on growth and driving a constructive culture.
- Prior experience in using SAP (preferred) and Intermediate MS Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
