We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist, who will ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily/Weekly Duties_
- Prepare weekly payment proposals for both local and international vendors (primarily USD and NZD) for authorization.
- Generate payment files and upload them to the bank for approval.
- Timely and accurate processing of authorized vendor invoices in adherence to service levels, contractual terms, company policies, and legislative requirements.
- Deliver high-calibre verbal and written customer service to all stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
- Identify and allocate any miscellaneous unreconciled bank payments, conducting bank reconciliations.
- Follow up on overdue credits.
- Respond efficiently and promptly to internal and external queries.
- Process staff reimbursements.
- Manage vendor maintenance, creating and amending vendor details as needed.
- Cross-train with the Accounts Receivable function.
- Reconcile weekly forex payments and analyze gains/losses.
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties or projects as required.
- Monthly Duties_
- Generate and analyze creditor reports at the end of each month.
- Reconcile major vendor statements and ensure all invoices are entered for month-end.
- Conduct bank reconciliations for forex and local transactions on SAP.
- Handle accruals and provisions for invoices not received by month-end.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar function.
- Working knowledge of SAP and similar online banking functionalities is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels and a positive and patient telephone manner.
- High level of accuracy in data entry, along with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel.
- Analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure with mínimal supervision and supervise others as required.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Good common sense and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the flexibility to work the required hours to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team.
