Senior Electrical Systems Leader

We seek a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team and take on key roles in the design and delivery of electrical systems across various sectors.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in detailed design engineering, renewable energy, and transmission/distribution sectors. Experience in solar farms and/or battery energy storage system design is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with Principal/Lead Engineers to drive detailed design and support the Electrical team.
- Complete and review power system calculations and modelling using industry-leading software.
- Take ownership and provide leadership to ensure technical project success.
- Undertake site audits/inspections and offer expert advice.
- Develop and review technical project deliverables at a technical authority level.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, clients, internal engineers, and project managers.
- Proven expertise in detailed design engineering related to electrical substations, renewable energy, and transmission/distribution sectors.
- Experience in solar farms and/or battery energy storage system design.
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards such as AS/NZS 3000, AS2067, AS62271, and relevant design standards and statutory regulations.
- Current RPEQ/CPEng certification or eligibility and willingness to obtain these.
