The Director of Nursing Critical Care is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing team and services within Critical Care Services.
Main Responsibilities:- To provide effective leadership and management of nursing staff and services within Critical Care Services.
- Lead patient care in an inter-professional environment to achieve defined objectives of the Critical Care Stream.
- Collaborate with other nursing directors to align operational plans across streams.
- Manage human, financial, and material resources to achieve strategic objectives.
- Support the development and application of clinical management policies and guidelines.
- Provide leadership in research, education, quality improvement, and innovation.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by managing risk.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to lead patient care teams in an inter-professional environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in clinical management and policy development.
