Tradewind Australia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support and supervision to young people in our care.
About the Role
As a Residential Youth Care Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing individualized support and guidance to young people to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participating in sleepover shifts and providing on-call support as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or equivalent
- Currently be enrolled in a Cert IV Youth Work or equivalent with transferrable skills
- Australian Drivers Licence
- A positive and resilient attitude
