About the Role

Australian Healthcare Associates (AHA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Aged Care Funding Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for visiting residential aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the Metropolitan North and Yorke, Lower North & Barossa aged care planning regions (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health and Aged Care.
  • Travel within the Metropolitan North and Yorke, Lower North & Barossa ACPRs with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to ensure successful implementation of the AN-ACC assessment tool.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a RN, Physio or OT in the aged care sector.
  • Current, general, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.
  • Willingness to travel to regional/remote facilities.
  • Able to work unsupervised within a diverse and widely located team.
  • Meet all Department of Health and Aged Care Vaccination requirements.
What We Offer
  • Highly attractive salary – $104,550 salary p.a % super (FTE)
  • Permanent PT position (0.6 FTE)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm
  • Full training provided in the use and application of the new assessment tool
  • All technical equipment including laptop and phone
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses
