Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Venue Operations Manager to join our team. This is a critical role that requires a high level of operational expertise, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our venue, including security, cleaning and waste management. They will also be required to provide support and backup to the Head of Events & Venue Operations for major events, as well as coordinating and managing the delivery of operations from security, cleaning & waste management.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Providing operational support and backup to the Head of Events & Venue Operations for major events">
  • Coordinating and managing the delivery of operations from security, cleaning & waste management">
  • Developing, reviewing and producing operation procedures, systems & manuals">
  • Monitoring venue operations to determine possible actions required to facilitate continuous improvement to the services and facilities of our venue">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

  • ">
  • A minimum 5 years industry experience at a supervisory level">
  • A minimum 3 years experience managing staff">
  • Event experience">
  • Knowledge and experience operating services and plant associated with the operation of venues">
  • Knowledge and experience with the WHS Act (NSW) 2011 and WHS Regulations (NSW) 2011 and any relevant Codes of Practice">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills">
  • A current NSW drivers license & Fork Lift license">
  • Ability to work to and meet project deadlines">
  • Be committed to excellent customer service with high attention to detail">
  • Be energetic, proactive, committed & have great work ethic">
  • Be able to work an event based roster including weekdays, weekends & late nights">
  • Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia">
